I have been craving to try some pigtastic eats ever since I first heard The Pork Shop was a part of town.

I finally had the chance the other day. After trying the BBQ pulled pork biscuits I knew these porkers were up to something great. The sauce is a little sweet, kind of Memphis-style, with a great red color. The pan con lechon was mouth-watering at first glance. They marinate the pork with fresh lemons and oranges, not bottled mojo, and it shows in the taste. So bright, and fresh.

For dessert, only one on the menu, and it’s the only one needed. Sweet potato pound cake with a maple glaze and powdered sugar is the right amount of sweet to finish off with.
